Stacey’s puppy survival guide is an absolute must BEFORE bringing your puppy home! I bought it after I was struggling without 12 week old pup. Her guide is incredibly comprehensive, clear, and illustrated -complete with trouble shooting, schedules, and great suggestions all while being relatable to our family and our uniquely spunky puppy, Mercy.
Mercy was struggling to go into her crate without barking and crying for an hour for naps and sleeping only short bursts, she fought us during training for recall, and was overstimulated and biting us all day. We were going out of our minds wondering what we’d gotten ourselves into to!
After reading and implementing Stacey’s tips for success and consistency in executing schedules that were easy to set up and stick to- Mercy is now taking great daytime naps in her crate which has greatly reduced the previously constant biting. She is coming when called, and is a generally happier puppy which means we are a happier family.
If you are bringing home a puppy in the future and you want to know how to set yourself and your pup up for success from the get go- you NEED this guide. If, like our family you are at your wits end wondering what you were thinking by getting a puppy- you definitely need this guide to get you all on track and enjoying each other again.
